Dee has been an amazing ambassador for Quiver and has many other talents up here sleeve other than surfing and you might just see her at a venue near you playing drums in her band.

Check out the feature issue now and even the cover makes winter surfing look somewhat tropical!!! :)

Tom Butler - at Aileens

Gary McCall's photo of Quiver rider Tom Butler has been announced as photo of the day (24th November) on Magic Seaweed - take a look here. Amazing photo, amazing wave, and Tom is always looking for the biggest beast of a wave out there.

Tom is riding a custom board for this wave, which is all part of the service at Quiver Surfboards. When you are after something which isn't quite in the model range, then speak to one of our shapers to get what you need. Quiver Surfboards is a custom surfboard factory; it's what we do.

Quivers Golden Wavelength Cover

We are stoked to say we've managed to get another cover this year on Wavelength Magazine's December 2011 Issue, making it our 4th Quiver front cover on the UK's top Surfing Magazines. It features Hugh Galloway from Ireland surfing Riley's on his Quiver. Here's the gold we are looking at:

The mag is in the shops now and is a real cracker of an issue so be sure to check it out. The winter season has started with a massive bang and swells to beat and hard to remember such a good early start. Better make sure you've got your guns at the ready this year!!!

Emily Stoked on her 5'10 Hobbit

Well, you've made one grom very very happy! I think it's almost impossible to say just how stoked Em is with the new board.

Her first surf on it was a quick 20 minutes before her first heat in our club comp ( Welsh Coast Tsunami charity fundraiser ), Em said the board felt right straight away and she wanted to use it in the comp.

First wave of her first heat, she pulled off a huge off the lip then carved all the way down the line, loads of people commented how well she was surfing, she looked fast and in control. Won every heat she surfed in, surf was about 3 - 4ft. She ended up winning the under 16 Girls and was second in the Ladies, not bad going considering she had only surfed the board for twenty minutes before the comp.

Emily picked up her 5'10 Hobbit from the factory a few weeks back and already looks like the board is doing a good job for her.

Thanks to photographer Claire Beach for the use of the images.
